With its peaceful Moorish fountain and breathtakingly strong decorative features, the dramatic Zagora restaurant serves a delicious fusion of North-African and international cuisine.
The name 'Zagora' comes from the name of a town in the valley of the Drâ’a River in Souss-Massa-Drâ’a, south eastern Morocco. Originally it was called 'Tazagourt', Berber for 'twin peaks', referring to the form of the mountain.
A key feature of the restaurant is the 'kanoun', a traditional Moroccan charcoal-burning brazier. The aromas from the burner, and eclectic blend of fresh ingredients and spices, creativity and passion, provide the foundation for an extraordinary dining sojourn - in splendid surroundings.
Dine inside the formal restaurant, al fresco around the candle lit reflecting pool, at the pergola underneath the stars, or somewhere private just for two! |
